Sad but not unsurprising news the 26 year old has had to retire from the game following his fractured skull hope he gets support from the FA in what will be a very difficult period for him

Terrible news for a good player in his prime!! Also worth remembering that Gary Cahill will likely feel awful about this as it was him that had the accidental clash of heads with Mason.
