Time for change? - turkeydinner - 19-10-2014 Nearly beat Liverpool today but QPR are still bottom of the league, earlier this week Robbie Savage put it down to the squad not being fit enough QPR came up under Warnock with a team of journeymen complimented by even more journeymen when they reached the promised land Mark Hughes came in and brought in a team of expensive flops who lived on past reputations and apart from their pay packets didnt care to put in a shift then came Harry who helped change the mentality and apart from the Christopher Samba debacle strove hard to put some passion back into the team but ultimately relegated Shipping out the imports and Deadwood Arry put together a side easily the most impressive in the Championship but failed to take the division by storm only getting back to the EPL after beating a much superior and more deserving Derby County in the play offs QPR have not been good this year and often terrible, on paper they still look good but Dunne looks past it given his 10th own goal of his career, Ferdinand another who has done nothing to say he is not past it, Onoura has hardly played. Barton is still the most consistent and committed midfielder Austin is unproven at this level, Zamora wont score enough to keep QPR up a forward who puts goals away is needed losing Remy was a massive blow Is Redknapp the man? Should they give him til Xmas? Time to bring in Tim Sherwood or whoever? |
