An all Spanish Champions League final prevails again! - 0762 - 05-05-2016 And it's another Madrid derby - anti football versus attacking footie! I must say I'm not a fan of any Euro final where both finalists come from the same country/football league but that's the way it has transpired in season 2015-16. RE: An all Spanish Champions League final prevails again! - Lord Snooty - 05-05-2016 How can it be possible for the "best league in the world" not to have a team in this final? RE: An all Spanish Champions League final prevails again! - 0762 - 05-05-2016 Yep! A good point that maybe tells us it's the richest footie league but not the best! RE: An all Spanish Champions League final prevails again! - St Charles Owl - 05-05-2016 I think the point is it is by far the best league in the world but it doesn't currently have the best individual teams!! The PL from top to bottom is competitive, forget what Leicester have done, I will believe that is a blip until we are proved otherwise but there are very few easy games for any team in the PL. In other countries, once you get past the top 2-3 teams the standard drops off very quickly. RE: An all Spanish Champions League final prevails again! - 0762 - 05-05-2016 One could argue it's the best league that is disproportionately filled up with foreign players all the same and the relative monies for each Premiership club is greater than potential Champions League incomings anyway. |
