Adel Taarabt has joined Benfica after having his contract with Queens Park Rangers terminated by mutual consent.
Taarabt featured just seven times during a miserable season which saw QPR relegated from the Premier League.
The 26-year-old has signed a five-year deal with Benfica, who won the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season.

Great talent but needs his ego stroked and used either behind a striker or as a playmaker in a 3-4-1-2 or 4-2-3-1 perhaps as his defensive duties and strolling nature make him a modern day Johhny Haynes (look it up kids)
