Big Sam - possible next manager? - Stairs - 01-06-2015 It's a rumour, nothing more. But it begs the question, Sunderland fans, would you be happy with that. Who else would you prefer? RE: Big Sam - possible next manager? - turkeydinner - 01-06-2015 Cant see it Stairs, think he wants a holiday and dont you feel a manager who is out the game that little bit longer sometimes his rep goes up? Y`know they sort of forget the bad things about a certain manager and start calling for him to be installed (Moyes, Hoddle, Curbishley, Pullis etc) Plus FSA is ex Newcastle! Ally McCoist ex Sunderland player might be a good shout RE: Big Sam - possible next manager? - Lord Snooty - 01-06-2015 Sean Dyche apparently. RE: Big Sam - possible next manager? - turkeydinner - 02-06-2015 Slavisa Jonkanovic is Free, did wonders at Watford in little time RE: Big Sam - possible next manager? - turkeydinner - 05-06-2015 Advocaat staying but Sunderland need a major recruitment drive as have only 18 professional players Mannone did well under Poyet but hasnt been first choice, Both goalkeepers for me currently arent good enough Defence, the whole backline needs buying, Van Aanholt looked OK but `O Shea now is squad at best Midfield, needs players with only the limited but passionate Cattermole the real starter, Rodwell never kicked on, Johnson well we all know about, Bridcutt is squad as is Gomez Forwards, Fletcher works hard but dosent always score as many as needed same with Wickham, the Defoe deal was preposterous I bet Defoe gave his agent a bloody good tip after that came through, Danny Graham actually scored at the end of last season! No wonder Tricky Dicky only signed a one year contract! |
