Goodbye QPR - Dark times ahead? - Stairs - 10-05-2015

Well finally the inevitable happened in a big 6-0 drubbing at Man City.

The club will now sell almost all of its players and will have to perform miracles to avoid having to pay a huge fine.

It might be blessing in disguise as the club will need to build a totally new squad and on a shoestring. This will give youth a chance and we all know how wrong it would be to dismiss a team of young player (Mr Alan Hanson). Would not surprise me if an exciting young team rose out of the ashes of QPR's disaster and become an attractive football club in 6-8 months time.

Good luck to all QPR fans. What has happened in recent seasons is hardly your doing!

I feel sorry for the chairman, seems a decent guy who gave his money to pay for players on huge wages under Mark Hughes who didnt perform and then certainly backed Harry Redknapp who did a spending job, blew it and then did a runner-not much integrity arry!

Very lucky that Arry turned them round in the Championship selling off all the overpaid dressing room spoilers but they still shouldve walked the Championship, they didnt and certainly didnt deserve to beat Derby in the play offs
Enter the EPL and still clueless QPR dont know what there best formation is, not the best thing to do when playing the cream of English football, the answer? Spend even more money, then walk out

Charlie Austin is gone, I expect Fer and Sandro to go abroad, someone will come in for Caulker`Phillips and Green, a few freed like Wright Phillips who was on huge wages doing nothing, Ferdinand and Hill to retire

Young side with McCarthy in goal and a few veterans kept on, need to drastically rebuild from scratch

Hopefully they will do a Blackpool. Over aspirational little club with deluded fans.
Glad they're going down and looking forward to stuffing them next season

Spot on Snooty!!! QPR are the epitomy of all that is wrong with the Premier League!! They spent a fortune on players transfer fees and wages while in the Championship and stomped all over the FFP rules knowing that if they went up they wouldn't have to pay the fine because the PL would protect them by refusing to automatically hold the fine money from their TV money!! Now they are coming down the FL should fine them the 50m or so that they said they would, and if they don't pay it they should be relegated to the conference as the rules state!!!

I have no sympathy for the club or their fans, they encouraged the club to sign player after player, to keep racking up the debts and getting the owner to bankroll 'Arry, knowing full well they were breaking all the financial rules!!

Let's hope they finally have to face the consequences of overspending.
