England their England - Stairs - 10-09-2014 Has anybody read this book by A G McDonell. It's a bit if a classic but it has a beautiful chapter about playing for a City cricket xi away in a village. If you are a fan of cricket it's a must read. RE: England their England - Marco4 - 11-09-2014 I haven't, but I love a good cricket book. Seems to lend itself to writing, like baseball. RE: England their England - Stairs - 11-09-2014 It's really all about that one chapter - best to sneak a read in the library or stand a while in Waterstones. RE: England their England - Lord Snooty - 11-09-2014 Last book I read was one of Boycott's. Put me off books for life.
