Points deduction - Lord Snooty - 13-11-2024

Bonnyrigg Rose have been deducted 6 points because their pitch has too much of a slope. Confused

Brings back memories of the famous Easter Road slope - 45 minutes uphill, then 45 minutes downhill for the Hibees, leading to many exciting second-half performances against all of the top teams of the day. Of course the Hibs' captain had to win the toss first!

However it seems OK to have clubs who break/tweak FPP rules and racist fans who throw fireworks and smoke bombs and bottles without any punishment other than a little tap on the wrist.

It does seem a bit harsh.

The only thing I don't understand is why Bonnyrigg Rose were given Bronze status originally, but it's not good enough for that now. It seems that The Blazers have moved the goalposts - sorry, the pitch dimensions - mid-season.
