England wrap up the whitewash at Edgbaston, Stokes breaks the record for the fastest England Test half-century by balls, his 24 beating Botham's 28 at Delhi in December '81.

Had a look at the score about an hour ago. West Indies building a lead.

Just looked now and England have won by 10 wickets. Laugh

This is not the cricket I grew up with. Tongue

Most of it passed me by, cannot prepare for three tests by playing absolutely no warm up matches but hey the Hundread

RE: England at home, summer 2024 - Lord Snooty - 09-09-2024

Well that summer of test cricket has just passed me by entirely. There's just been too much other stuff going on.

I've only watched the highlights tonight because I'm on holiday and not got Sky on. But five wins and one loss doesn't seem so bad, does it.

Did not listen to a single minute of Test Match special this season, next year all tests will be done and dusted by the first week in August
