Hearts v Motherwell - HerefordBull - 05-09-2023 It was, as the saying goes!, a game of two halves. First half the game plan from Motherwell was spot on and Hearts seemed to struggle going in at the break deservedly a goal down. Plenty of possession but as is the case ,sometimes, I have seen at Easter Road is it doesn't develop into much. Hearts came out for the second half and looked better and Shankland was unlucky on a couple of occasions.( Boyce should also have scored ) They were given a boost on 70 minutes when McGinn was sent off but even against 10 men there was no way through the Steelmen. In fact 'Well had a chance to increase their lead in the last minute but Clark denied them. There was a feeling of restlessness in the crowd after the recent results and wonder if they have the right team in charge or if results continue in the same vain, will we see a change to the hot seat at Tynecastle sooner rather than later just as we are seeing at Easter Road at present. ps: see Naismith is back now as the official first team coach now that the JTs are out of Europe. I believe he didn't have the right badges to be in charge whilst they were still in Conference League..........rules eh |
