Bitter Celtic - turkeydinner - 19-01-2015 Desperately good draw at the weekend against a competitive Dundee side in an entertaining match, yes 3-3 in the end was lucky and a mere point gained, Celtic won against the mighty Ross County Well done Dundee who beat us last time we played and massive well done to the Dons who kept plugging away to the final whistle its what any supporter wants to see from their team So looking on a few other boards I see plenty of `bottlers `comments and `blown it`, we drew a match even Barca/Madrid dont win every match Glancing to the top of the SPL you`ll notice the name Aberdeen there, its not three games in, its a New Year Perhaps Celtic fans dont like it as they have a bit of competition with ourselves and Dundee United playing so well and frankly Celtic being damn awful Bottlers you say? How far did you go in Europe without a few technical issues going your way? Why arent you leading the SPL with your inflated squad of expensive players and ahead by twenty points as per usual? There may not be the usual Easter celebration this year guys. Perhaps Celtic supporters should worry more about their own team `bottling it` as they have all season, especially against Hamilton Academical, notice Lennon doing a damn good job at Bolton also Might even get a few Celtic fans signing up after that one RE: Bitter Celtic - St Charles Owl - 19-01-2015 I thought their troubles were all part of the conspiracy the whole of scottish football has against Celtic?? Have to say it would be so good to see Aberdeen win the title, but I fear Celtic will eventually pull away at the top. RE: Bitter Celtic - turkeydinner - 20-01-2015 Yeah sadly so do I, there is class there in Gordon`Mulgrew`Brown`Van Dijk etc and ive rated Gudetti a long time dont know why Man City never gave him a chance Too many foreign players that the board hoped would come good and turn a profit (See Wanayama, Ki etc) and didnt and a cheapo manager because of the board didnt want to attract a manager to club with a big name who wanted a big salary Notice Chris Maguire scored for you at the weekend, theres a player who when he was actually given a sporting chance with us did well-have to say we are a terrible club to players who leave Fraser, Aluko, Fyvie, Grimmer, Mulgrew, Maguire, our fans usually use words like `hell` and `rot` a lot ! RE: Bitter Celtic - St Charles Owl - 20-01-2015 Maguire has been very hot nd cold for us and is currently in my opinion living off his run of goals at the back end of last year. We also play him out wide on the right so he is out of position for us, but the pressure is mounting on him too perform better wekk in, week out. RE: Bitter Celtic - turkeydinner - 20-01-2015 He`d often be played out wide for us also a waste of the lads talent Think it was Mcghee who finally put him behind the main striker and he did excellently in a very bad Aberdeen side and as I recall called up to the national squad very disappointed with his spell at Derby that he didnt kick on for whatever reason, players who go South so early really need to get there heads down or they`ll be on a one year contract in the SPL in no time with St Mirren! RE: Bitter Celtic - St Charles Owl - 20-01-2015 From what we could see he had an attitude problem at Derby and we have seen a bit of that with us as well. Playing him behind the striker or strikers seems to be his best position but our manager is a dinosaur who is stuck with 442!!! |
