Ten Hag, a manager who wasn't frightened to drop any top player and showing real authority in getting the best out of his team choices - some attributes that definitely made a difference. For experience read regularly injured and previously unable to hold down a regular United place, ended up with a Leicester team who couldn't handle crosses and continued to be unfit on a regular basis. His body is ageing faster than his chronological age, and Joe Biden would have been more alert than him for City's second goal. If you aren't good enough at Leicester then coaching and becoming a good influence on the younger developing players should be your only role at Old Trafford. He has been a good pro'. Tethering him like a sacrificial goat in front of City's attack was a cruel finale ..... if indeed Ten Haag decides to make it his curtain call. |
