THE MATCH

SATURDAY 30TH APRIL KO 12:30 PM

LAST MATCH

Well we did our best to screw things up but were rescued by a Lee Gregory hattrick to keep things going until the final Saturday. We started on the front foot and were rewarded when Gregory controlled Hunts forward ball and slotted past there keeper. Then things went pear shaped, we gave the ball away around our box, the ball pulled back and Camps scored from the edge of the box. Fifteen minutes later we were behind when we decided not to defend a free kick and Garner applied the finish. 2-1 @ HT. Onto the second half, no changes again at HT as he waits until the hour mark for some reason even when we are losing. The game changed in our favour when Gregory equalized from close range and then from the kick off Gregory robbed there player and finished from 20+ yards for his hat-trick. We managed to see out the remaining minutes and back up to fourth.

THE MATCH

So after 45 games it all comes down to this. Win and we are in, draw and we are probably in, lose and then it is down to three other teams results. Pompey cant make the playoffs but will want to play spoiler, particularly a certain George Hirst who is there joint leading scorer with 12. They are managed by Danny Cowley who had success at Lincoln and will be looking to try and get Pompey up next season. We just have to win the game, but with DM in charge you just don't know, he will probably drop Gregory after scoring a hat-trick Doh

Storey and Hutchinson need dropping and if we do get into the playoffs they might buck there ideas up ! Both have been garbage over the last month .
Bring back Iorfa for the left and Dean in the middle I'd put Hunt in for storey and let him work that flank with NML after all we need a win so we have to go for it ! Waiting around for other results and a draw will be suicide for Wednesdayspurs !
Get that useless wanker Shatterson away from the team and bring back Berhinio is my other gripe ...no point in playing windass at all apart from supersub Wink

Save bashuri for the playoffs semis as well and play the same 3 consistent midfielders who have basically saved our season ...hopefully come HT we can rest players let's see how it goes ..i don't fear Pompey I fear ourselfs more than anything.
I won't be getting to exited win lose or draw because the playoffs are nothing to celebrate !!!

This is going to be a tough one because the Cowley's bitch and moan more than I do.
You'll hear him screaming from the touchline for every fking little thing and he's another that tells his players to dive for Free kicks....

But if we'd had this extra 13,000 that have crawled out of the woodwork all season we'd have won the league on the basis of small teams shitting themselves and we'd have a much bigger budget due to the revenue
