France 23 Scotland 27 - 1st away win in well over 20 years! - 0762 - 27-03-2021 In a great game of RU in Paris Scotland come out on top in dramatic fashion with Van de Merwe scoring a try in the 84th minute - WHAT A MATCH!! France lose out on pipping Wales to win the Six Nations Championship and that draws a close to another fairly exciting tourney in which I think Scotland did very well but actually could've done much better had it not been for some fateful negative moments in their matches v Ireland and Wales. Still there are definite signs of improvement and optimism for the future. The usual successful tournament for Scotland - so near and yet so far. One successful penalty kick against each of Wales and Ireland and we would have been undefeated. To be fair we got a couple of soft scores v Ireland that made the result a bit closer than it should have been. Ireland look back close to their best now. |
