Extend Christie's contract? Highly questionable after the latest Celtic flop tonight! - 0762 - 22-02-2021 https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/news/celtic-supporters-react-to-club-s-christie-contract-plans/ar-BB1dQUIJ?ocid=msedgdhp Ross Co 1 Celtic 0 and another embarrassing result v a team located at the bottom of the Scot Prem but not duly beaten by the Hoops within the first 60 mins due to players like Christie who definitely had the scoring opps, some easy ones when unchallenged in the Ross Co pen box, but was never gonna score in a month of Sundays - rank rotten and that poor display "ties in" with the msn criticisms from lotsa Celtic fans who don't wanna see Christie being retained. Could it be his confidence is "shot" or he is "distracted"? I dunno but I will say he's doing himself no favours with shit displays like this one. He wasn't the only offender tonight as Rogic, Edouard and others not at their best but this game really should've been "put to bed" long before that winning County goal and Christie definitely the chief sinner in not converting some of the scoring opps that came his way. Definitely lotsa work to do in the close season in a "reset" to offload certain failed players in a COVID affected season and start recruiting far better quality players who will be attracted to a challenging Champions League quali campaign next season.
