Jonas Olsson:
I'd guess that Albion would have offered him a less lucrative contract. He probably suits us right now as stand-in, and we'd be vulnerable with injuries/suspensions right now.
He's rubbed some fans up the wrong way, but a few years back he was consistently among our best 3 players.
I hope he stays.

I think it's in Olsson's best interests to leave if he wants to be playing more regularly, Serie A may be more suited as it's much slower league compared to the prem.

Tremendous servant to the club and always gave 100% passion and commitment in every game. I wish him well and hope that some day he will come back to the club in a coaching role later in his career when he inevitably leaves either in January or more preferable for me at the end of the season. He could still play a bit part this season imo, in the right games.

Sorry, slow to update thread as recovering from a foot operation (both feet actually).

Flat out at moment so hard to work laptop. Normal business hopefully resuming after weekend, if not before.
