The bullpens are starting to be depleted, especially for Toronto. Neither team can afford to give up this game so the bullpens will be depleted!!!

Houston looking to end that series very early on against No1 seed Royals!!

Into the 13th and still no sign of a winner!! I am now heading home from work early so that I can watch the Cubs in their opening game!!

Nobody has won anything yet. In football terms we are at the qtr finals stage.

Qtr finals = 5 game series.
Semi finals = 7 game series
Final = 7 game series

So far Kev is very happy with the Rangers leading 2-0, Pei is obviously despondent, I am concerned after the Cubs lost their opening game, but nothing decided yet.

I'm pissed off just like you lot get on a Satdi when that S6 team squander opportunity after opportunity and can't hold a lead. Then you have the buggers called umpires who give all the breaks to the American team because they don't  like Canadian teams winning. Angry

That play to 3rd base that the jays contested was a definite out as the cameras showed. But the a-holes didn't allow it so the good ol' American team went on and scored. Doh Angry

The home plate ump was a complete dickhead. Where ffs was his strike zone? Up near his armpits, down by his boot laces. Depended on which team was hitting. Never seen such a shoddy shit awful display as that. Angry Angry

Then again, we didn't so anything to help ourselves. Fielding errors that resulted in runs being scored, innings extended. Hitters trying to go for home runs in extra innings when the game was on the line and Texas had their best pitcher of the night on the mound. Doh Doh

I don't think we can come back now. We have had long winning streaks but that was not in the playoffs and we're just not performing well.

But, like Yogi Berra said "It aint over till it's over." Huh

Cubs take game two and home field advantage over the Cardinals. Back to fabulous Wrigley Field on Monday, with Arieta pitching as a bonus.

Go Cubbies!!!
