By all accounts looks like a very good signing. Hopefully he can fulfill his promise. McGugan may definitely be off the cards now so.

A little bit of Lewis Baker.

exactly the sort of players we should be signing. Young, energetic players who have a point to prove rather than journey men OAP's looking for their last pay day.

Also, can't be a bad thing striking up a relationship with Chelsea and their academy. They have a lot of very good youngsters coming through who won't get a look in in Chelsea's first team

He is captain of the England U20 team so is destined for great things. We could be getting him at just the right time, a bit like Barkley.

RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 08-01-2015

Our players are obviously not ready yet. Some of the talented ones we saw making our bench last season have been injured most of this season so we can't put them in. We're sending ours out on loan to see if they can cut it in the league below before we risk them here. Chelsea have just done exactly the same.

If you believe the rumours then we've beaten Premier League teams to his signing because Chelsea were impressed with the way he handled Hutch last season

Our under 21's aren't doing bad. They won comfortably 5-0 the other day and I think Corry scored one.

This one signing will probably be our lot...

Never said they were bad players or playing badly, I said they weren't ready. We've all seen Corry and McCabe play and we all pretty much agree they aren't ready (whether they should be or not is another matter). Then we've got a load of 16/17 y/o filling out the u21's, who again, aren't ready.

Bit of a different standard to the standard Chelsea U21s play. This lad scored the winner in the FA Youth Cup last season against Man Utd (not Crewe).

West Brom are apparently preparing a bid for Dielna.

Saw the Dielna thing earlier. Wants to be over a million if true (prem team, 2years+ left, mid-season etc)
