Sunderland needed striker cover. Borini is out for 3 months. All they had left was Defoe. DD Stoke boss Mark Hughes will have another chance to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino, 23, in January or next summer, says chairman Peter Coates. (Stoke Sentinel) Wales forward Hal Robson-Kanu, 27, turned down "silly-money offers" to join West Brom on a free transfer on Wednesday. I'm sure some of the players that have left would have been better had they been allowed to play as they were known to play. Whats happening with Macmarillan - whatever, each time I've seen him he's been ok. Not funny - glass eye RE: 2016 (Final Day - Closed) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 05-09-2016 Reports in Portugual suggest that West Brom are one of several clubs considering a move for free agent defender Kevin Constant. The former AC Milan left-back is attracting from clubs across Europe including PSV Eindhoven, Bordeaux and Sporting Lisbon as he looks for a new home. Tony Pulis is thought to be seeking extra competition on the left-side of defence after signing Everton youngster Brendan Galloway on loan for the season while Chris Brunt is on his way back from injury RE: 2016 (Final Day - Closed) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 05-09-2016 (05-09-2016, 16:14)Beefy 1965 Wrote: Reports in Portugual suggest that West Brom are one of several clubs considering a move for free agent defender Kevin Constant. Just three or four years ago this guy was playing for AC Milan and had a lovely touch and a good crosser of the ball. That said we would be his 3rd club in 10 months, I don't know the reasons and they could be quite legitimate. All in all, well worth a look IMO. Here you go thought I would have a quick look and see if I could find anything from his Milan days and came across this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgejIC3l31c Look out for the pass/cross with the outside of his foot about 1.05 RE: 2016 (Final Day - Closed) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - drewks - 06-09-2016 I can just picture TP thumbing through the current edition of 'Bargain Basement: Gazetteer of Free Agents' at this very moment!! Looks like he's got a great touch, as you say Salop..........the clips made me laugh tho - I don't think ANY of them resulted in a goal! He'd be well at home with us!! RE: 2016 (Final Day - Closed) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 07-09-2016 West Brom are ready to offer Northern Ireland defender Jonny Evans, 28, a new £75,000 a week contract after Arsenal's failed attempt to sign him. (Telegraph) PEANUTS! (that reminds me: the peanuts are 5p cheaper at Lidl this week. That's a saving of over £2 a year. Wonder if Jonny's wife's aware.) RE: 2016 (Final Day - Closed) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 08-09-2016 Manchester United have headhunted West Brom talent-spotter Steve Hopcroft in a revamp of the club's academy system under Jose Mourinho.
