Price does tend to struggle in the play offs, he's now 0-6. I was hoping we could win 1 of the first 2 games in Toronto, and with Cole Hammels starting today we might just take them both.

Still a long way to go though, don't know if we can keep your line-up quiet for the forthcoming games.

Why are the Jays/ Rangers games at stupid times of day? Today it's early afternoon our time.

Well there's 4 games today, so I suppose it makes for back to back to back to back baseball, and the Dodgers are on the west cost so there game will always be later in the day

Not only that, there is far more interest in the NL games, both from a public and media perspective, so they will always show the Cubs v Cardinals in east coast prime time and the Dodgers v Mets on West coast prime time!!  From a media perspective the NL gives the tv companies teams from the 3 largest tv markets - New York, LA and Chicago - they will not give that away to the smaller markets that the AL offer.

Then you need to watch it more, its not a difficult sport to understand and as a sports fan you would quickly pick it up.  Best time to watch would be now as well with it being the playoffs.

Smaller markets in AL? New York, California, Toronto, etc. Don't think so, SCO.

And thurny stop saying you don't understand the game, get yourself a satellite dish, sit down with that bird of yours and score a home run. Whistle Whistle

The three biggest tv markets in the US are New York, LA and Chicago, both in terms of viewers and advertising revenue, and each of those cities is represented by a team in the NL playoffs!!!  Dallas, Houston, Toronto and Kansas are smalltime tv markets in comparison to these three!!

Jays leading 4-3 in 5th. Stroman in a groove now. Go Jays

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - St Charles Owl - 09-10-2015

Now 4-4 in the 10th after Texas leveled in the 8th. This game could go either way and could potentially destroy the bullpens as well!!!

Bottom of the 12th, still tied 4-4.

Houston lead Kansas 3-0.
