RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Thurnscoe_OWL - 02-10-2015 First base? i'm planning on a full rounder this weekend bet I'll be run out at 2nd though RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Jacko The Flopsy Piglet - 04-10-2015 (02-10-2015, 14:15)peiowl Wrote:(02-10-2015, 13:57)Jacko The Flopsy Piglet Wrote: Baseball is one of those sports I enjoy watching when I'm over in the States but I can't find time for when I'm back home in Blighty. I do think it's like ODI cricket in that it has slow periods, definitely not like T20 which is more crash-bang-wallop than even Baseball. Pei. Have to agree that a close finish in any sport is better than a one-sided hammering. For the neutral at least. Beating Leeds by 6 Again would be brill though! RE: Thread For Anything But Football - peiowl - 05-10-2015 So it's the Blue Jays against Kev's Texas Rangers in ALDS. Jays with home field advantage. Jays 3 games to 2!!!! Go Jays!!!! RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Owlkev71 - 05-10-2015 Think your Blue Jays will win it 3-1 or 3-2, should be plenty of runs scored, depends who can get good enough pitching. Thanks, Kev. But, don't give in as easily. Anything can happen in playoffs. I think Wild card teams have even made it to World Series. We do have a weak spot and that's our closer. RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Owlkev71 - 05-10-2015 Kansas City & San Francisco were both Wild Cards last year and they got to the World Series so you could be right. RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Imre varadi - 05-10-2015 England lost at Rugby !! RE: Thread For Anything But Football - peiowl - 06-10-2015 I'm only interested in women's rugby. That's on account of Canada having a rugby team like this one: Mind you, if you want to follow the lads each unto his own. RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Thurnscoe_OWL - 06-10-2015 that is the mens team isnt it? RE: Thread For Anything But Football - peiowl - 06-10-2015 If those lasses don't appeal to you imre, how bout a more mature one? Come on Susan make my day!!! Thurny. At your age you shouldn't be looking at pics like I've just posted. Pretend you didn't see them. This is more your cup of tea. |
