With bated breath he tore open the door with number 31 on it and peered inside to find...... NOOOOOOTHING another huge day of disappointment for little Tony as he turned with a tear in his eye and looked at Big Daddy Lai and inquired why he hadn't been bought a gift today but chairman Lai simply didn't understand what the young lad was saying not without an interpreter anyway. So little Tony looked around for Uncle Jeremy but he was too busy clearing out his drawers and locking up to be bothered with little Tony's heart felt pleas and so it came to pass that little Tony mumbled to himself between sodden tears "Oh well we'll go with what we've got" "The lads ul jest af to wurk arder" He desperately tried to explain to Chairman Lai that buying a football club also involved buying livestock for millions of obscene wasted pounds but again he drew a blank expression and so he grabbed his tatty old berahino no action man doll by the scruff of the neck ran off to his room where he shoved the tatty old doll in the naughty chair and talked endlessly to the deaf dumb mute toy and as he pulled the cord in the centre of its berahino belly it repeated the only words stored in its tiny 1 cell memory " I suppose Il av to werk arder" Cos my arse is getting fat on this naughty step

THE END

good night everyone. Im cancelling my sky subscription tomorrow coz its a pointless waste of my money already let alone the next 8 months

As everyone, completely underwhelmed by yesterday's non events; I'm actually not blaming TP as I'm sure his games were tied by the takeover being not yet sanctioned.
With the squad we now have, at least till January, I hope against hope that he doesn't walk away from us in frustration; I can see TP keeping us within touch, but who else? Indeed who else would even consider us?
Surely we've all got to be right behind TP at the moment!

It's not all doom and gloom, we'd still have Saido, Mozza, McClean and Leko on the bench.

Think we could utilise Brunty back in the middle of the pitch for a bit of creativity too.

...are there any other decent frees around?

I personally think he's a good enough runner to hassle defenders and create space for the others.

Fair enough...  maybe he's hitting his prime? Whistle                   I hope I'm proved wrong.

I genuinely don't see the issue, get the feeling he'll become a cult hero because of his work rate!

25 premier league appearances for Reading... Thumb up

European Championship semi-finalist... Thumb up

Let's not do our normal and crucify him before we see him play.
