RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - betterthanbaird - 31-08-2016 (31-08-2016, 23:27)HarryJAllstarWBA Wrote: Has Lambert gone? I think we're keeping him unless we get another striker (and robson-kanu) in, so he's staying. The signings we've made arguably seem to be a step up on previous ones, and will at least improve our starting XI, it's just annoying that the club hasn't brought in what they know we need. RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 31-08-2016 It was like christmas this morning Promises of huge presents And now ......... It feels like i've opened all my presents, and just ended up with socks and pants! RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Stairs - 31-08-2016 There must be 'stuff' we don't see. I suspect JP stopped lavish expenditure with his money and the Chinese would not sanction using their cash as the deal is not ratified. It could be that TP had a wish list which JP would not agree with and TP ended up having to compromise. What ever the reasons this has been awful and we are left very vulnerable until the January Window. Leicester managed to go a season injury free (near enough) and that's what we need to do. If Saido was prepared to play and some of the U21's step up we stand a chance. Next Window I am not going to watch and will just check in the next morning, I'm grey enough as it is!! Thats two lard arses staying !! Cardiff City are unlikely to sign Rickie Lambert, the striker has failed to agree personal terms #ccfc #Cardiff RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 31-08-2016 Had enough, can`t be arsed anymore. Lets hope the Hawthorns empties quicker than my local pub when the yobs walk in. Just wait for the enevitable relegation now. Won`t even get the BCD next season. The way this club has been run is nothing short of scandalous. DD RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Stairs - 01-09-2016 Lambert has gone to Cardiff RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 01-09-2016 Yep link here stairs Change of heart bang on 11pm their website reported it, Now what if Rondon gets Injured http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/847157208?-11200:789:0 RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - HarryJAllstarWBA - 01-09-2016 Big season ahead for our youngsters, who will have to be called upon. Will they be able to keep us up?? Will they be able to keep us up?? God knows mate I suppose Pullis will have to stay now Unless he walks ............. Cant see many other Managers keeping us up, Maybe when the takeover is cleared by the FA, come Jan and we are outside the bottom 3 (hopefully) We can add to the squad then ........ IF RE: 2016 (Final Day - Closed) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Slick_Footwork - 01-09-2016 This is probably the only time I remember that pretty much 100% of the fans all agree that the window has been an absolute joke. I'm generally a moaning pessimist, but it seems everyone has been pulled into the doldrums this year... As per the last 3-4 years. All we can hope is there are 3 teams worse. IMO we haven't had a 'Premiership' quality squad for some time. Wouldn't surprise me if Pulis walks but TBH, it doesn't t matter who the manager is, it's going to be a huge struggle this year. |
