I despair of this club sometimes RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - SomersetBaggie - 31-08-2016 (31-08-2016, 22:35)bomberbrown1968 Wrote: If i didn't love the Albion so much I'd f**king walk tonight, can't believe the money not there if all the rumoured bids and interest was there, Slimani, Carvalho, Camacho and Sissoko in the last 24 hours and we end up with a reserve from a bottom half team and a free agent from a championship club. GOOD GRIEF !!!! I've loved the club for 50 years but feel so let down I am walking. By the time the change of owner has been ratified the stadium will be empty but Peace's pockets will be full. RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Slick_Footwork - 31-08-2016 Something has to happen in the next few hours, surely... In an entire summer, with money at an all time high, we've signed one proven Premier Player in Chadli. Robson Kanu has scored 8 goals in 3 years in the Championship. What on earth makes anyone think he can do it at this level? He's no better than what we have and we were told the signings were only going to be improvements... Galloway is a good young player, but not deemed ready for a rival. Phillips is a player with potential but unproven and Nyom did 'okay' for Watford, but was deemed surplus this year. Given the money in the league, to not sign at least 2-3 players who are proven at the top level is absolutely pathetic. We can moan at Pulis, but if something doesn't happen in the next few hours, he's been royally screwed by the board. Doesn't seem to matter who is in charge, they just want to walk away with a bigger wallet... But as there is already speculation around Saido I wanted to capture this rather than forget it. Feel free to comment but do not expect it to 'stick' as an important thread until we get to the end of seaosn. I would like to see it continue as a reminder. Saying its brilliant. Maybe he will try something new as he has some great professionals and good players. What has he too lose? Just let that sink in. Disgrace. GOOD GRIEF !!!! Same here Somerset, if the change of owner hasn't been ratified and the funds aren't there, does that mean all the bids we have supposed to have made upwards of £20M are either false or without foundation to make it look like we're trying to get some real quality in when in reality we're doing sod all except replacing like for like RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Kennyg - 31-08-2016 SACK HAMMOND AND GARLICK NOW! WE SHOULD RECEIVE A REFUND ON OUR SEASON TICKETS. TOTALLY UNDERWHELMED BY THE TRANSFER ACTIVITY AT THE HAWTHORNS! RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - 4evaabaggie - 31-08-2016 Kanu now confirmed .... sky sports guests Paul merson and niall quinn reckon a good signing ....... Disappointed beyond believe ......... We are in trouble RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 31-08-2016 Good grief Three year deal done ................. WBAFC NEWS @WbafcNews 6m6 minutes ago Robson Kanu medical completed and he's signed a 3 year contract. #wba RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - BBB - 31-08-2016 (31-08-2016, 22:53)bomberbrown1968 Wrote:(31-08-2016, 22:47)SomersetBaggie Wrote:(31-08-2016, 22:35)bomberbrown1968 Wrote: If i didn't love the Albion so much I'd f**king walk tonight, can't believe the money not there if all the rumoured bids and interest was there, Slimani, Carvalho, Camacho and Sissoko in the last 24 hours and we end up with a reserve from a bottom half team and a free agent from a championship club.
