Xisco was the only hire that was going to be a yes man for Chansiri.
The club continues to suffer as a result of his interfering

Well everyone wants xisco gone now ..not Xmas and I'm agreed he's had enough time to play better than that dogshit performance today ..he picked the wrong players and formation he's shit !
Put Niel Thompson in charge till clownsiri finds another nobhead for the managers job .

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 16-09-2023

Apparently Delgado did 3 foul throws... incredible

Fletcher... Absolutely everyone who claimed to have been at the games he's played in say he's the worst they've seen.
Which takes done doing for our Club of hot dogshit.

It's exhausting now. And after the two week break to toss out that performance is beyond unacceptable.
If we lose to Boro then other managerial (and by that I seriously mean an actual manager, not some nobody coach that says "Yes boss, I can do it") candidates need to start being looked at for the role.

There's just so much wrong it's too much to type lol

We're seeing the bingo machine go ape shit this man hasn't got a clue. Where's this Gassama Prodigy?

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 16-09-2023

Got to bring James back in the team and if we have to play target practice put Pato up top with Gregory or Windass but this lone striker buisness is never going to work ..we will struggle with 2 strikers nevermind 1 ffs !!! Got to scrap this bullshit system and revert back to 3 in the middle of the park with wingbacks that can actually cross a ball ! And if that's xxxx Delgado off then so be it and bring back Johnson it's that bad !!! This Valentin must be utter utter dogshit as well or why isn't getting a start ?

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 16-09-2023

Most of these players actually look out of their depth.
Can't pass,no movement on or off the ball.
No footballing brain among them.

Is this all down to Xiscos tactics or are the players actually that bad?

He's playing them out of position, in bizarre formations and producing no attacks whatsoever.
100 minutes of football at home and not a single shot on target.
That's incredible...

We knew it would be bad and there's going to be losses. This though, this is beyond unacceptable.

Another typical explode in your face result from 'thrifty' Chansiri this Xisco Munoz clown is.

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Parisowl - 16-09-2023

Went to the match today and can confirm it was dire! First half lated nearly an hour but it seemed like 3 hourd. Kept looking at big screen and time seemed to have stood still.
Playing out from the back is great if you hsve the players. Ipswich were not brilliant but passed it around the defense to draw the press and then pass to midfielder in space. We passed it sound 3 or 4 times and panicked snd booted it up to Smith. Not a fan of Smith but poor chap would receive the ball totally isolated. Not one decent attack csme from a big hoof out of defence.
Ipswitch (the away team) played with 3 up front and 2 geniune wingers. Both hugged the touchline as I was told as a kid before Ramsey came along. Both had pace to burn. They created 5 or 6 good chances.
Our passing and control was awful. A couple of 5 minute spells in second half were better but all 30 yards away from goal.
I like Byers but he spent most of the game remonstrating with team mates who had clearly made a bad choice of pass.
Tell me why does a goalkeeper take a goal kick and pass to one of his defenders INSIDE the 6 yard box. Defender then hoofs it upfield.
There were also many foul throws today and ref was very grnerous.
Only bright spots today were the new keeper and Buckley. The rest were awful.

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 16-09-2023

Parisowl xisco has played Byers out of his normal position since he started .
Can't blame byers frustration ... especially when it doesn't work and we are not winning.
Xisco is trying to put his stupid tactics on pub league players instead of a manager dealing with what he's got at hand ...Im for advancing but it's gone mental at this moment ! We've got a none discript manager wanting to play god knows what as there is no description for it ! With players who can only play up and at em pub league style ..
....meanwhile the gifted ones haven't got a clue where they are !

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Parisowl - 16-09-2023

Imre,
Sorry i was not criticiising Byers. I share his frustration. I like him a lot and can see why he gets upset. Agree that picking players out of position is nonsense. Maybe possible with world class players but we need to get some structure where they all know what to do.
Still in UK next Tuesday and got brother in laws tickets so could go to Middlesborough game for free. I’ll watch it on telly!

Keystone Kops for their goal

They passed it with ease to one another as we left holes all over the pitch. Unmarked players and runs untracked. No pressing. It's just a masterclass of what NOT to do in football.
Absolutely lost faith in this nobody Xisco. I hoped he wasn't a bargain basement knee jerk replacement for the buffoon that was Moore, but here we are with Chansiri. Forever going in circles.
He's managed to take us right back to the tin pot level he picked us up at. It really is remarkable and he's still so utterly delusional and indignant about it lol
Only back then we weren't being gouged for the privilege of slumming it inside Hillsborough.
Premier league prices for Premier league football Laugh

The problem is, there's no chance of him selling up. None. He's already shown he won't entertain the idea. He's lied to the fans countless times. He's having a public fight through the press with the previous manager.

8 games into the season, and the only win was on pens against Stockport....

Fking laughing stock

RE: The Owls v Ipswich SBC Match Thread - Parisowl - 17-09-2023

I am sorry but I cannot understand how football clubs are so unprofessional. I moved to Sheffield in 1997 and worked for BSC and then British Acheson until 1990. My last job at Acheson (Union Carbide) was in personnel and involved succession planning. Every role we had to have a plan to replace the position if the needed. If somebody died, resigned, got promoted etc we needed list of possible replacements. This was a live document and reviewed regularly. Southampton had a similar policy. £170 million they have made selling players this summer. In South Stand today i can still look across between LLE and the North stand and see the chimneys at Union Carbide 30 years after it closed. Why are football clubs run by F twats!!
