RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (17th Aug) - Dingle-Dingle - 20-08-2015

West Brom are bidding to sign Tottenham's Argentine defender Federico Fazio, 28, despite snubbing Spurs' opening bid for striker Saido Berahino, 22. (Daily Mirror)

Just for comedy interest...... Sunderland have been made the odds-on favourites for relegation - by their own shirt sponsor Dafabet. (Metro)

Apparently, Charlie Austin's got a knee issue - he failed a medical at Hull in July 2013 when he was a Burnley player. Bummer.
That's a long time ago - don't see him limping very much!

His physio ('s aunt's, cousins, nephew's dog's best mate) tells me nothing wrong now and no legacy injury

I would have though most clubs who wanted a player enough to get them to the stage of having a medical would not fail a player and drop their interest because of a slight injury, if they thought the clubs medical staff could get them through it.

So does it not suggest a bit more that the Hull medical team just two years ago said no?

"I know nothing" just asking the question.

If our medical team thought they could get 30 games out of Diarby, they can probably make Austin walk on water

Ok so fazio looks set unless he stubs his toe at the medical.

Interestingly Austin has fallen out with West Sham and so more available than expected - this could be the switch that enables the Berahino deal to happen.

Sell Berahino and get Fazio plus cash which buys Austin and Phillips............. just saying
