RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Imre varadi - 21-06-2017 well the fixtures have worked out ok i suppose Preston away wont be easy but you cant get many kind fixtures away anyway ! then QPR at Home which will hopefully be 4pts in the bag and we can start to push on something ? Pigs at home first at the end of september when hopefully they will have had there little cup finals and they feel tired not bothered about getting Leeds after concentrate on the pigs but you have to ask why we always get back to back derby games o and i also noticed that they gave us colins cardiff before the pigs ffs what a set of cheating xxxx !!! RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Washington - 21-06-2017 It must be the hotter than '76 heatwave over there and everyone's down the pub - not even any outlandish rumours on OT or even much of a fixtures debate. An opening day draw looks on the cards with PNE Hopefully once preseason starts at the beginning of July one big or several 'massive' signing interviews will materialize and re-energize us for the coming season. I did look at the Fixtures list on the official site and it looks like even all the preseason games will be shown on IFollow RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - St Charles Owl - 21-06-2017 Well I now know that when I am back at Xmas I will get to see the mighty Burton at Hillsborough on Jan 1st!!! Might also be able to get to the Boro game if I fly in early enough. RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Imre varadi - 21-06-2017 after looking at the first month i think ill stay in bed and buy IFollow in september Sunderland doesnt excite me much either never did too much like Borro and not enough like Newcastle for it to be a big game but all the same its a kind month the first one on paper that is september 13th will also get changed to a september 14th on sunday at 12 oclock for sure both games and the other derby games as police will not be able to cope with a football match in the middle England war torn middle east RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Imre varadi - 22-06-2017 Sky are already saying the first game against the pigs will be on sky and 1230 kick off they havnt and will more than likely move it to sunday so thats the first derby game well and truly fcuked up for the ex pats and IFollow we will have to make do with sky streaming which has been shit for the last 2 months for some reason ? And the pigs gaffer is also saying that it would be the icing on the cake to beat us no interest from CC whatsoever who will say its about the points blah blah the only team likely to win this game is the big balled underdog unless the big stars show up for a change on a big game which after two seasons off CC football i doubt this very much interesting that we are level on results with the pig scum if you https://www.11v11.com/teams/sheffield-wednesday/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Sheffield%20United/ dont count the games when we were called The wednesday if you do like the pigs do they are 2 wins up on us so that would be nice to correct and a goal to aim for in a season that promises not much more RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - peiowl - 22-06-2017 (21-06-2017, 12:39)talkSAFT Wrote:(20-06-2017, 19:56)peiowl Wrote: Legends:You've missed out Bronco. Don't think Bronco was that good.He was only with us a short while before the betting scandal. We never really had a good CF imo in the 60s. Keith Ellis was another Noopoo except Keith could head the ball and he did score goals. Got a hat trick against Man U. at Old Trafford. So, I went back to the 50s to pick Dooley who was a great player until his accident. Redfearn Froggat would have been my next choice. Has he gone yet? I mean Noopoo not imre. RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Statesideowl - 22-06-2017 Boring Wednesday, hadn't even scouted players in the last few months to start the process moving along and have an idea of where we are and our targets. It's going to be last minute knee jerk signings again, isn't it? It's all very Wednesday isn't it a few panic buys, that he won't play, after the first game and then 4-4-2 it is with Bannan, Crutch, Lee & Wallace in midfield RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Imre varadi - 23-06-2017 dont worry stateside stuart downing has been shown the door by Borro !! step sheffield wanksday overpaidoverthehillwankwinger just what CC will be looking for !!! RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Statesideowl - 23-06-2017 We shouldn't even joke about it, because it'll probably happen. 'Boro have reportedly tabled a 3M bid for Westwood. Not a chance, he's worth at least 5M and we'll get nowhere selling our best player ffs |
