Cole - Decent buy in the short term, if only to provide cover for Vic.

For me it highlights a longer term problem.
How do we break the cycle of bringing short term/cheap/average players to the club ?

......"cover for Vic "????
Why? It's not as if he's injury prone or anything...

Evening Folks.
New member from 'North Of The Border' here.
Been stalking this site and the old 606 site for a good while now so though I should maybe contribute.
Just on the right side of 50yrs old and have been an Albion fan since late 70's.
Visits to see the team are limited due to logistics but me and my son are travelling down to the Burnley game this Sunday, hopefully to see some new faces in the team.
Got to be better than my last two games. the lacklustre 2-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light last season and the 0-0 against Wet Sham at the shrine the previous season.
Very optimistic we can take the points at Turf Moor.
Watched Spurs game online and we played better than we did against Hull home and away and Everton away so keep Ings quiet and take some chances we should be good enough!! Fingers crossed

Is Cole the only striker coming in? Seems to appear so but I really hope not.

Lambert going nowhere. Good news. If he's not coming here then staying at Liverpool is the next best thing.
