I think the main point to take out of this window is that the club (or maybe just Pulis) is aiming to scrape survival this season with proven PL players and we are planning yet another rebuild in the summer.

Would be surprised if more than 10 of our current first team squad are here at the end of the summer.

At least we have a few winners in the squad now: Foster and Gardner won the League Cup, McManaman has won the FA Cup and Lescott and Fletcher have won everything there is to win in football.

Here are the votes from the Somerset Jury (me and my son)

Striker - Situation getting desperate - Cole / Lambert / almost anybody better than nobody
Midfield - Not excited about Fletcher - is he an upgrade on what we already have ?
LB - Don't see this as a priority - Poco better than Ridgewell

I have a longer term concern. How do we attract better players to the club, assuming we survive ?
(or is that a question for another day ?)
