I'm sure that, when he finally does go, someone will publish the exact amount he has picked up since day one of Whyte.

He better start stocking up on Duraglit.

Ally McCoist's post-match interview on SSN.

Official announcement today, more info later this week.

Rangers FC - Resignation of the Football Manager (RNS Number : 7121Z) 15 December 2014

This absolute clusterfuck needs sorted ASAP.

Gardening leave would probably be the most financially viable option as his £750k would be spread over 12 monthly payments. Whichever way they do it, they have to do it. There is no way that he can be allowed to continue as manager of the club.

He should be owing the club monies after 3 and a half years of obtaining wages under false pretences.

How much to pay the other clowns off?

No idea.

If I was on the board, I wouldn't even be thinking of paying them off. We'll still need someone to put out the cones and hand out the bibs. Surely they're competent enough to do that?

I can't believe the Rst are still defending McCoist over this. They seem to see this as a deflection tactic cooked up by the board.

The RST are a toothless bunch of irrelevant morons, and should be regarded as such. Thumb up

I do not like the personal abuse being directed at Ally McCoist.
Despite the amount in his contract, I do not and never will regard Ally as being amongst the leeches who have sucked money out of the Club. Remember too that Ally has invested in the Club as a shareholder.

Certainly criticise Ally for tactics, team selections, lack of results, etc, the things any Manager is criticised for ... e.g., Paul Lambert !
Call for Ally to be replaced too, provided there is someone who folks feel sure will be able to get the team playing and delivering the results we all wish to see.
But show some appreciation for what Ally has done on behalf of Rangers over the years, especially since 2012.
Remember too that last Friday on SSN, he was in no position to comment on his offer to resign.
If Ally is not up to the job of Manager (as many feel), then he goes ... and as I have said before, he goes by putting Club before Self and resigning.
