whose contracts are up this summer?

The likes of Maguire, McCabe, Corry, Coke, Buxton, not sure about Kirkland, Lee, Mattock's contracts.

An exodus out means we need an exodus in, and the chances of acquiring that many first choice targets in one go is highly unlikely, we won't leave ourselves short on numbers. I do hope we can replace what we have with improvements, in a relatively short time.
We're going to be stuck with a few of these mugs for a while longer until we lure better in, unless our new owners really are aggressive with the finances, and money is no object when it comes to getting our man.

When does Noopoo's expire? Of the lot you listed, only the last 3 should even be considered.

And imre, I did **** off and look what happened.

Go get yourself a brain transplant. Laugh Laugh

Nuhiu got another year left.

Of those out of contract I'd sign up Maguire (handy from the bench), Mattock and Lee

RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - peiowl - 14-02-2015

Maguire is not the right caliber imo. I'd keep Kirky if he's willing to stay backup, but I wouldn't be too upset if he was dispatched.

problem with maguire is he's got no competition so his position is safe no matter what

Kirkland, Buxton, Zayatte, Kelhar, Maghoma, Coke, Corry, McCabe, Lee, McGuire, Nuhiu I would get rid of.

Madine will also be leaving as SG doesn't want him.

I thought Nuhui had another year but if SG stays as manager then probably a few will stay, certainly Maguire will be offered an improved contract.

Personally, I would only keep Lee and possibly Zayatte & Madine but a new manager might see everything differently like Karanka did when he took over at Boro.

Nuhiu may have another year left on his contract (god help us), imo he isn't Championship quality, he is L1 at best.

I don't particularly hold with strikers only being good enough for a particular division unless they only score in a lower division due to taking advantage of defensive errors. I cannot see Nuhui scoring in volume at any level.

Conversely, most of Madine's goals in L1 were good goals, either by him or the team, so he should be able to score at a higher level.

Interesting to see Madine got a goal & an assist while Antonio got two assists in the 4-4 draw between Blackpool & Forest. At S6, not a goal in sight. SG has sold one & banished the other.
