RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Slick_Footwork - 29-07-2015 Happy with Chester signing, by far the best of the defenders we've been linked with. Maybe he'll play full back, but he's good on the ball, so wouldn't be the end of the world if he does. Hopefully there's 3-4 more to come with a partner for Saido imperative. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - betterthanbaird - 29-07-2015 Pulis mentioned that he can play all across the back 4, so we'll probably see him at full-back a bit, wm twitter yesterday said Pulis told them there'll be more than 4 signings made after Chester. What positions are people expecting? Maybe full backs but 2 strikers, 2 wingers, and a centre midfielder wouldn't shock me. I think just as many could be shown the door though. Samaras ,Dorrans and Mulumbu have already gone, while Gamboa and Pocognoli seem to be on borrowed time. Would like to see Ideye moved on as I didn't see any signs he's capable of making it at this level. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - drewks - 29-07-2015 Nice tribute to James Chester here from a Hull perspective. http://thebaggiesway.com/2015/07/29/james-chester-a-hull-fans-view/ RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - WBA Will - 29-07-2015 I'm delighted with the Chester signing. We've all been saying for a while that we need a younger CB, and while this summer most have been talking about other priorities (namely strikers), that issue hasn't gone away. £8m might be a little steep but if he is a quality starter for the next 5 years, I'd say that's money well spent. Let's hope he is just the first of a few quality players arriving in the next few weeks. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Stairs - 30-07-2015 Rudy Gestede bid being prepared by Albion and Villa - Apparently, but it is Talksport RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 30-07-2015 Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert could be set for a reunion with former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur. West Brom are also interested in signing the 33-year-old.
