RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 25-09-2017 merkel re-elected. Now that the dutch, french and germans have all re-elected pro-EU leaders we can finally put to bed this "the EU is dying pish" farage and his buddies have fired out there constantly. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 25-09-2017 Although the far right party has established itself as the third popular political party in Germany, Merkel's Democratic Party is still popular enough to hold firm for a fourth term in government albeit as part of a coalition much like the current set up in Scotland. That's what happens when decisions are made on unpopular policies and these populist groups try to 'take political advantage' as we've seen all too often up here as well. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - ritchiebaby - 26-09-2017 Merkel is paying the price for her "open door" policy on refugees. As you say, another coalition with the restrictions that will bring. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 26-09-2017 Yep ritchie and consequently Merkel will be concentrated on her political status in Germany with any interest in Brexit being 'put on the back burner'. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 26-09-2017 (25-09-2017, 13:54)0762 Wrote: Although the far right party has established itself as the third popular political party in Germany, Merkel's Democratic Party is still popular enough to hold firm for a fourth term in government albeit as part of a coalition much like the current set up in Scotland. The ADF will fall apart quite soon, they were mostly a protest vote. Much like farage's mob did. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 27-09-2017 4500k jobs at risk at bombardier in Belfast. This is going to test theresa's special relationship with the bigot crew alright. A glimpse into the kind of free trade deals we are going to be getting post EU. ie ones that favour the likes of trump and co heavily. All you brexit fanboys on here should follow this story closely, because 'Global Britian' after Brexit is going to be torn to shreds and we're going to spiral into further decline. Liam foxes trade deals ? hahahahahahaha RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 27-09-2017 Aye Jim. As I said previously, there is a multitude of huge economic 'hits'/negative implications and a lotta these morons who voted out of Europe are gonna regret even thinking about it, never mind voting for it!! Also I believe the EU economy will turn positively soon and that will be another 'kick in the teeth' for British brexiteeers, esp the triumphant ones who are dragging us 'into an economic gutter' unless some courageous politician steps in and changes it as previously suggested by the late Sir Tam Dalyell! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 03-10-2017 Watching some of the usual 'preaching to the galleries' at the Tory conference, I can't be the only person to realise this governing political party is clearly a 'very tired and poorly led group of people' and they are definitely the wrong politicians to negotiate the UK exit from the EU. Listening to toerag jokers like Liam Fox on bbc Newsnight trying very badly to explain why there is a huge lack of progress in negotiations and simultaneously shuffling uncomfortably in his chair. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 04-10-2017 ....and the ultimate nightmare arises for their beleaguered leader/PM, Theresa May, during her closing speech - handed a P45 form by an interloper who managed to get on to the podium (what happened to the tight security???) and then she loses her voice!!! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 04-10-2017 Even the stage lettering behind her told her f off lol. Excruciating speech. Capped off a nightmare conference with the tories trying to take the credit for inventing the NHS and nicking ed millibands old energy policy. A train wreck of a government. |
