EssexOwl here. I've just registered having been browsing as a guest for a while. Unsure about the technology until I get the hang if it. Bear with me.

More proof of the benefit of guests.

Couple of bits of advice Essex Owl:

Ignore Imre. When he abuses you, it means he loves you.

Ignore Pei. He has Alzheimers & a Corrie fetish.

And make sure you pay your £50 a month subscription fee. I'll PM you with the PayPal details  Whistle

RE: Guests - St Charles Owl - 09-09-2014

Will be interesting to see how many guests we have on here during the match on Saturday, that when we traditionally get more onlookers!!

RE: Guests - peiowl - 10-09-2014

In my day........................

Joe Collier, George Mack (headmaster), Griffen, Monty (Beaumont), Colin Smith, John Nicholls, Pharoah Smith, Killer Johnson, Alf Ridler, Polly Stansfield, SEP Presgrave, Sid Hoffmann, Tom Haller, Pole Robinson..................

Used Latin and Greek all the time when I studied Anatomy and Physiology. Helped me remember names of body parts.

And it gives me that cultured profile that I've maintained ever since.

There were still a few of them still there when I was at HS many years later - Colin Smith, Fat Bazza, Killer, SEP & Sid. Sid was my Head of House (same as Oxon Owl).

RE: Guests - St Charles Owl - 10-09-2014

I was in Herring house, can't remember what it was called before that though. The other houses were Catcliffe, Hoffman and the last one escapes me at the moment!!
