Charlie Austin. Proven PL goal scorer. Offer QPR £11m plus add-ons.
Christian Benteke to Liverpool for £32.5m - is he worth three times Charlie Austin? Never.
Jordan Ayew Lorient to Villa for £9-10m - unknown, unproven.
Those two make CA look really good value. What are we deliberating over?

Adrian Ramos, Ricky Lambert

What's with the Clark link?

He's absolutely gash, wouldn't want him on a free.

I thought the idea of signing players was to improve on what we have. Villa's defence
is terrible and one of the main reasons why they've been flirting with relegation for
years - Clark and Baker are the main culprits.

Ramos and Iborra seem like positive links but it seems all the players we have genuine
interest in are Championship players. Our recruitment policy really has took a turn for
the worst over the past couple of years.

I first saw it yesterday and it took me by surprise, and I've no idea where it's come from. Villa fans have expressed a range of opinions of him.

There was talk of Diaby having a medical yesterday. Anyone know if it happened?

Marseille have signed Lassana Diarra today so probably don't need Diaby.

I must have missed this. Apart from Antonio, who are the other Champo players we have a genuine interest in?

Austin?
