RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 02-02-2015 But they'd both be wasted on the wing because they're better centrally. We had Lee on the wing 2 seasons ago and a lot of people moaned that he wasn't utilised properly RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - St Charles Owl - 02-02-2015 Any more rumours out there or do we assume we have finished in this transfer window?? If we have finished we have signed a striker, a RB and CM, pretty much what we wanted, with the exception of a pacy winger!! Point is would he be better than Maguire out there, because he isn't a winger either and Lee would offer better protection to Palmer as well. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 02-02-2015 Matty Phillips been doing the rounds over last few days. If we can pull that off I'd look something like this RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 02-02-2015 I agree they're both poor players most of the time but if we played Lee, Semedo, Hutch and McGugan in a 442 we would become so narrow that we'd leak more than pei's bladder does at night RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Owlkev71 - 02-02-2015 Think that might be it for players coming in, going on what SG said earlier, might still be departures though. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Maddix - 02-02-2015 I think we'll be waiting for the loan window to open before we bring any more in. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Owlshighgreen - 02-02-2015 RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Maddix - 02-02-2015 Wouldn't mind this one 20:28 Manchester United have confirmed England Under-21 international Jesse Lingard was a late withdrawal from tonight's reserve game with Fulham at Leigh. Lingard had loan spells at Birmingham and Brighton last season. He started United's opening game of this season against Swansea but suffered a serious knee injury from which he has only just recovered. It is anticipated Lingard will be leaving Old Trafford on some kind of loan deal. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Owlkev71 - 03-02-2015 Lingaard in talks with Derby. Mani Dieseruvwre has joined Chesterfield on a permanent deal. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Towinjustonce - 03-02-2015 Happy enough with the signings. Still don't see where the goals are going to come from. Anyway on to the loan market !!! Westwood and Lees are still here |
