Rumours have it that the new season will start on September 12 with no facup replays and the dog poo cup axed !! Great news this I only hope they see sense for the first time and actually keep it like this for good !! The facup replays are a pain in the arse !! And the dog poo cup doesnt even pay the players petrol !!!
I know the smaller clubs need the replays at the bigger clubs ..so give them the option of playing there let them choose what's so hard about that ???
They have no advantage now anyway the talent gulf is so big it doesn't represent anything from the last century !
And if they want a dog poo cup then again let them choose ..but do t bring us into it .cos it's a fluffing waste if time !!

I'd laugh at Huddersplop but we all know that they are going to stay up on the back of our points deduction Doh a bit like that play-off when they won without scoring Doh

Come on Mr Liverpool Angry stop bleating about poor old Wigan and do the dirty now while we still have a remote chance of doing something about it on the field Angry We all know that your name is spelt with a silent P Cool

He has no say as to what the verdict will be, its an independent panel that will decide this. Of course either side are able to appeal this and I expect both will, so this will drag on into next season most likely anyway. That of course may trigger lawsuits against the EFL from the Dingles and other relegated teams so chaos could still ensure!!!

I love you're faith Charlie but I'm sorry in today's bullshit world independent does not exist ..someone somewhere is pulling the strings .
Why is it taking so long if not ? Can they not read statements ? It's not hard this had it been any other legal matter then an independent board would have sorted it out within 2 days at least ! Or maybe they had to take a lie down because the stress of being a human was too much ?

Our former manager Jack Charlton has died at the age of 85.

A good player & manager and a member of the World Cup winning team.

RIP Big Jack

We came across him drinking alone in a quiet west end pub the evening after ***** had lost to Villa in the 96 League Cup final.

Just checked the teams and Carlton Palmer was  in the ***** side that day and Nigel Worthington was an unused sub.
Also David Wetherall, who played for our reserves but never played a first team game for us whilst he was studying for his BSc in chemistry at Sheffield University.
Wednesday bit part players Ian Taylor and Tommy Johnson in the Villa side.
