If it wasn't in Scotland they would be near Liverpool or Middlesbrough, nowhere near the fuckwit with her finger on the button. Yes I agree with that, the reality of trident and the submarine base is that there are only a few areas where it could go irrespective of population or anything. I think Portsmouth has been mentioned in the past. It really down't matter where it is though because if it ever gets targeted by a nuclear weapon then we are all in trouble, not just those who live near it. Besides in the event of a nuclear strike I am sure London would be high on the list anyway, possibly above Faslane to start with!! RE: Trident renewal - parliamentary vote today! - 0762 - 21-07-2016 The fuckwit on the button would be protected at all cost Lord Snooty! Lots n lots of innocent people would end up being killed instead and the 'people that matter' will somehow try to protect themselves and remain above all the collateral damage! Pardon the cynicism but isn't that's how it works??? Also Faslane is just a prime target, the base that nurtures our WMD. The Trident subs are the conveyors of this deadly device and that's why they are coordinated to be isolated 'out at sea' for long periods. My father in law did it often enough in years gone by and with no direct family contact for months - no fun in that eh but it was all part n parcel of his RN duties! |
