RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Imre varadi - 04-05-2023 Reading are done for a year or two with the restrictions and player wages etc !! They can't even gamble there so far under scrutiny with the EFL mafia !!! Pigs in blankets helping other pig teams !! Only Wednesday and Leeds stand alone in Yorkshire the rest are all having a gay fest !!! Well done Colin though if only he was an owl ..he really is a decent manager at his level with the resources he gets ! RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 05-05-2023 Two of the three coming down are basket cases with regards to finances and the other team are just shite!! RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Statesideowl - 05-05-2023 Typical Pigs throwing it to Huddersfield. RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Imre varadi - 05-05-2023 This game for me is at 5oclick in the morning Sunday so absaloutley no chance of getting up for maybe a interesting but definitely dead rubber game. It is beyond belief that this day and time gas been chosen I'm sure another own goal by the tv and EFL!! RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - peiowl - 05-05-2023 I’m fully behind DM. Since when has changing the manager ever worked out? RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Statesideowl - 05-05-2023 I suppose I ended up getting my wish that the Derby game would be a dead rubber for us by the end of the season. We we're supposed to have promotion wrapped up though (05-05-2023, 18:01)peiowl Wrote: I’m fully behind DM. Since when has changing the manager ever worked out? It worked for Sunderland last season. They sacked their manager after an unacceptable 'blip' that's how ambitious they were next to us. They went on to regain form and win the Playoffs. Out smarted Darrenball fairly easily before putting one past Stockdale in the final. RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 05-05-2023 EFL clubs have voted to accept a new 5 year deal with Sky Sports, worth £935 million. The deal will run from the 2024-25 season to the 2028-29 season. The deal is £340 million more than the current deal. RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Maddix - 05-05-2023 Roughly 13m per club if it was shared out equally, which it won't be, and then divide that by five gives you some peanuts and some crisps found under the back seat of Sky's Rolls Royce per year 50% increase in revenue whilst increasing coverage from 138 games to over a 1000 I'm sure some maths whizz will be able to work out that disparity for me The EFL has just fallen for the '3 for 2' trick at ASDA RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Imre varadi - 05-05-2023 O pieowl do you deliberately talk bollocks ? The best example in recent years would be Dave Jones the season we sacked megson for negative football ..but back then we had a chairman not an inept child !! He is the root problem as long as he's got a hole in his arse we will go backwards not forwards !! And no the EFL has taken a massive back hander under the table like it's corrupt self does !!! England has become as corrupt as third world dictatorships ...o wait a minute ? RE: The Bottlers v Derby L1 Match Thread - Maddix - 05-05-2023 And that's without factoring the drop in match day revenue in Someone needs to call the SFO the EFL has just been scammed |
