RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 29-01-2015 Read up on them earlier. We could rename the away end the "John West Stand" I suppose this takeover makes it easier for the south standers to get their prawn sandwiches as well now RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Southeyowl - 29-01-2015 Been working from home due to the weather! Only found out when the young un started going berserk in his room! I must have been in the zone! RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - St Charles Owl - 29-01-2015 Maybe they saw a picture of the flooded pitch a few years ago and figured that it might prove to be new fertile fishing grounds!!!! The fish jokes are going to fly from the Blunts, but as long as these guys are serious and put some serious money in then bring it on piggies!!!! RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 29-01-2015 I'd rather be owned ny a bloke with a $78 billion fish empire than the £1 bog-roll prince RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - peiowl - 29-01-2015 So we've had a takeover. Now if only imre would have a makeover. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - A57owl - 29-01-2015 Good news. Will hold back complete excitement until the deal is ratified. Pleased to see they have already put a small amount in to let us grab Baker and Keane. Let's hope for more cash to build a stike force that can score goals. Will be interested what his vision is for the club is once the deal is fully sealed. The company has sales of THB 73 billion, Thai Bhats, that equates to $3.6b or 2.3b pounds. (29-01-2015, 19:51)A57owl Wrote: Good news. Will hold back complete excitement until the deal is ratified. That will be an interesting statement, I am sure it will be full of sound bites and cliches, but lets hope he is clear and upfront with his goals!! RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 29-01-2015 Quote:annual sales exceeding USD 3.6 billion over the last year or 2 they've expanded, buying 2 businesses for around £3bn. I have read the £78bn somewhere in relation to value of stock/infrastructure/market share etc RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Was Wereham Owl - 29-01-2015 And Dejphon Chansiri isn't the major shareholder in the company, he's about 5/6th, but as its a family owned company I don't suppose it matters much. I'm sure if he has paid the £30 Million reported he's gotta A) be fairly serious about the aims for Sheffield Wednesday and B) fairly fuc king minted !!! RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 29-01-2015 his dad is the major shareholder so he and his brothers would inherit the business when he pops his clogs which at 79, he wont last that long (sorry pei, I know he's a youngster compared to you ) |
