RE: Labour Leadership Contest - 0762 - 31-07-2023 That is just a side-issue comment TBF! The main theme of criticism re Starmer's emergence as a so called leader of the Labour Party is the fact he is a serial U turner, another lightweight politician who is desperate for votes at the expense of any true moral values or principles whatsoever and also ditching the Labour Party's raison d'etre in the process - an absolute joke and no surprise that the Labour Party has lost 10k-20k members in the past two months. Many more will follow by the turn of this year and into another election year. What a shambles politics actually is in this country at the moment esp at a time of real economic crisis and social hardship that is not going to go away anytime soon. RE: Labour Leadership Contest - hibeejim21 - 02-08-2023 Starmer is a self admitted Tory who is going to keep the seat warm for one term before the real thing returns. The entire labour project is about seizing and centralising as much power as possible for a tiny gaggle of freaks nobody likes or wants, so there’s no alternative to them, ever. They’re not just trying to seal the left into a tomb, they’re sealing you and your kids in one. |
