If you include the accent, Pléa, the proper pronunciation (closer to player) would be great for headlines/chants. We could have quite some Pléa on our hands.

We go for Plea and Villa go for Praet... Come on Albion we need to be looking at more quality like these other clubs around us are

At the start of last season I was saying and I still have not changed my mind, even though he would probably be £2-3 mil more than at the start of last season, I would like to see a cheeky little offer for Demarai Gray from Bluenoses. Young attack minded winger with loads of potential.

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Luke_East_Baggie - 07-07-2015

Don't think we will go for too many more young attackers if we get Phillips and already have Mcmanaman in...

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 07-07-2015

Both the Express & Dingle and the Mail are both reporting QPR are apparently sticking out for £10 million, their valuation, for Matt Phillips to which TP is equally as adamant in saying he will not pay it. It was hoped a deal would be struck at around £7 million, but it is looking less likely!!

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Luke_East_Baggie - 07-07-2015

I think something will still be done at around about the 6-7million pount mark, with the rest of the 3-4 million being paid next year OR in appearance or performance related criteria. I don't think we will fork out 10m upfront for a "good" player. Someone like a Podolski, or a Charlie Austin, or a oxlade chamberlain etc, then maybe (a real quality asset, or someone who is proven and has years left in them) but phillips is too wet behind the ears still for me to push 10m out, and I think any other agents or clubs out there will use that as a benchmark for any other signings this summer...

You can see them now: "My guy has played internationally, we think 16m is an argeeable figure.... You paid 10m for Phillips!"

Cardiff City have signed Newcastle winger Sammy Ameobi on a season-long loan.
