A late Jennings goal won the game, not a classic but both teams gave 100% both could have had penalties personally thought the one not to give Newport a kick was an exceptionally good decision
Both keepers made important saves the one by Davies onto the post tremendous. Tranny fan Mike Dean super natural powers made sure an opposing player was sent off, seriously though thought the ref had a decent goal
Finally congratulation to Steve McNulty on being the fatest b**(((d ever to play at Wembley

From cock up to victory fair really Charlton scored all three goals no idea for the Blunderland goal caught every one on the hop, Addicks first quality goal meanwhile Nobbers loanee Chris Maxwell played zero minutes and gets a medal

I've been trying to remember the last time I actually watched one of these finals. Must've been when the Liverpool fans ran riot and a load of Italians got killed. Since then I haven't been able to drum up any enthusiasm for this non event, over hyped rubbish competition.
I did switch on for the last 5 minutes of one once when I'd seen on Ceefax that ManU were losing, only for the jammy sods to go on and win it.
