RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Stairs - 05-07-2015 Basel striker Breel Embolo for £10m, sounds like we can afford to ? RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - silverbaggie - 05-07-2015 Yes but just guess who else is interested in him!!! Can't blame big Sam for this one. Isn't it time that the Club that single handed won the World Cup for England had their own scouting system??? How can they get him so cheap??? That has got to be one of the bargains of the window.Probably on £90-100,000 a week. Still surprised no one come in for him in the Premier League Tom, I doubt that mate, he has slipped down the pecking order of late in the German team however with this 'New Owner' maybe they should show a statement of intent UNLESS its the Greek government who have purchased us RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - HarryJAllstarWBA - 05-07-2015 £5mil bid for Phillips rejected. QPR value him at £10mil RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Stairs - 05-07-2015 Strong rumour we have signed MP for £8m from QPR RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - WillieJohnstonsGreenhouse - 05-07-2015 http://http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-brom-closing-matt-phillips-6005978 West Brom expect to land one of their major transfer targets this week after agreeing a fee for QPR winger Matt Phillips. Baggies boss Tony Pulis missed out on Demba Ba to Shanghai Shenhua last month as they blew the Premier League club out of the water by giving the striker more than £100,000 -a-week. But frustrated Albion have now dug deep to out-bid Aston Villa , Leicester and Crystal Palace for Rangers’ winger Phillips. Hawthorns officials aim to complete the transfer this week in a lucrative deal after offering more than Phillips' expected £7million valuation. Phillips, 24, impressed last term with three goals and eight assists despite the Loftus Road outfit being relegated. smilies courtesy of wherever this came from................ RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Tom_Wba - 06-07-2015 If we get Phillips is that a good deal? QPR seem to be wanting around £10M there must be much better players abroad for that sort of money. We look very limited in the market with Tony Pulis in charge that isn't a dig at the fella he's doing a good job but you always pay a premium for players based in the UK and Pulis always looks reluctant to sign players from abroad Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind Phillips but not at the sort of price been suggested by QPR RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - drewks - 06-07-2015 (06-07-2015, 12:33)Tom_Wba Wrote: If we get Phillips is that a good deal? I would've thought that our signings last summer would go a long way in supporting that point! Paying a larger fee at least reduces the risk in these cases.... RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - GlassEyedBomber - 06-07-2015 http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/2015/07/06/transfer-rumours-july-6/ Allasane Plea been mentioned before? Have no idea who he is mind. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - WBA-Josh - 06-07-2015 Pléa is very highly rated in France and has really blossomed in the past year. He can play on the right wing, which is his main position, and up front. He was used as a striker last season due to Nice's only proper striker Cvitanich being injured for most of the season. Here is his transfermarkt profile - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alassane-plea/profil/spieler/167329 Here is his stats for last season - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alassane-plea/leistungsdaten/spieler/167329/plus/?saison=2014 Here is his 2013/2014 stats - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alassane-plea/leistungsdaten/spieler/167329/plus/?saison=2013 |
