RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Owlkev71 - 23-01-2015 Antonio's stats this season Games 30 Goals 10 Assists 7 RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 23-01-2015 Aye and forest fans are all fed up of his cba attitude RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Southeyowl - 23-01-2015 as I work in Manchester, asked a mate about keane! this was his response "Good player pal. Will get you a goal or 2. Apparently better player than his brother Michael, and he’s not done too bad (be it sold to Burnley that said!!)" RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - peiowl - 23-01-2015 So, Keane according to Star is going to "re-discover" his goal scoring form with Wednesday? That's right. We're just the club to show him how to score goals!!! Who the f does SG get his advice from bringing these characters in......Imre and Thurnscoe??? RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Statesideowl - 23-01-2015 May should be rested on Tuesday night and Keane started... But this wont happen and SG will play the same team that lost on Saturday. Keane & Baker will be the 'Impact Subs' There's no doubt in my mind May will come good, he confidence is shot to shit though and every shot is pressure to score for him. Keane wouldn't still be an Manure if there wasn't much to him, though this might be his last chance to really shine and earn himself a new contract at Manure so I believe the kid really will try hard. I remember watching him in one of the U21 games not so long back, he'll probably do well at Champ level and competition enough to put some fire back in May's belly.. imo I'd start Keane for the next few games and rotate Nuhui & May see who compliments Keane better. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Owlkev71 - 23-01-2015 Well MS says we are better when we play a big man up front, Keane is 6"2, could he do the Nuhiu role?? RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 23-01-2015 Keane is apparently weak so wouldn't do the nuhiu role very well. We do tend to play well with nuhiu in the team. I do agree with stateside that may is shot of confidence and is probably fatigued as well. He could do with a rest. We've relied on him to be our main striker and forgot that he's only a young lad who's moved away from home to start from scratch RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - madsteve - 24-01-2015 One of the reason's that we do better when Nuhui plays is because we need his height to defend set pieces. I am not sure that May needs a rest. I still feel that he is close to scoring. If we had a pacy winger who gets plenty of assists then May would probably be in double figures already. Sadly May is being used out wide too much so he is less effective. In the absence of a match thread, I would go Westwood Palmer - Lees - Loovens - Dielna Maguire - Baker - Semedo - Maghoma Keane - May if we have to play 442. However seeing as Maghoma plays better in the centre, I would play a narrow 442, probably a diamond. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 24-01-2015 We don't play until Tuesday so does that mean no games of other interest?
