RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 09-09-2022 I noticed the americans made it clear again that if she fucks with the protocol a trade deal ain't happening. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 09-09-2022 The Irish Taoiseach, Michael Martin, also quickly getting involved with Truss and what she has been saying against the NI Protocol. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - theo_luddite - 09-09-2022 The only one's not happy with it are a bunch of clowns in Westminster and another bunch in Ulster. Since most of NI started to do what it had been free to do for yonks and actually started trading with with them down south rather than us over here, they've been making a fortune. About time the UU's took a bit of notice of what's actually going on rather than moaning about wanting two open borders, which is never going to happen. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 09-09-2022 It's a vg point re the trade benefits that have been absolutely clear with this trade arrangement and yet the Tories and their cohorts keep conveniently "sweeping it under the carpet"!! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - theo_luddite - 10-09-2022 Here we go again - more dickhead quotes from another woman who you might have also thought she'd maybe look in the mirror for more than a second before she comes out with them. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/sep/10/revealed-suella-braverman-sets-home-office-no-boats-crossing-the-channel-target RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 11-09-2022 Ohhh! Braverman "at it" again Theo!! I might have guessed! She has had some previous "nutty moments" on the likes of Peston's show and bbc Newsnight. There must be some kinda intelligence inside her cranium, surely!!?? RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 12-09-2022 I don't know whats more risible, suggesting stressed out staff watch "love island" or that you can actually stop every boat crossing the channel. She's another danger. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - theo_luddite - 12-09-2022 You'd like to think, if naively, that when someone qualifies as a legal eagle and makes it to "The Bar" as a barrister there might be something functioning in the grey area between the ears. As the woman, picked by Bodgit as AG as he realised she was likely the thickest of those at "The Bar", who advised him he could break International Law in a "limited and specific way", her suggestion that staff watch this kind of er, tosh shows that Bodgit's assessment of her was pretty spot on. In law however, the liar that wins invariably is the liar that gets their lies in first and accepted. Never mind trying to tell the truth. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 12-09-2022 In the last few weeks top tories have suggested cutting public sector pay, scrapping limitations on working hours and abolishing holiday pay. and yet we are told the trade unions are "extremists". RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - theo_luddite - 12-09-2022 Given they only work 3 days a week plus expenses, why would it possibly affect them? |
