RE: Money, money, money!! Lopez started training three days before the Charlton match and is now considered fit to play if required. Matias might be fit later this week with Sougou not far behind. Hunt is also doubtful but that is less of a loss. CC has to plan for the next four matches in his team selections or we will end up with half the team blowing again like we did against Charlton. The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Statesideowl - 22-11-2015 Semedo seems to think Joao won't be with us long. Which is concerning. I hope he is wrong though. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34844861 RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 23-11-2015 Thought I would see who were the top performers in SBC and how our players compared in several key areas. Goals: 1. Andre Gray (Burnley) 2. Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn) 3. Nick Blackman (Reading) 4. Ross McCormack (Fulham) 5. Chris Martin (Derby) ..................................................... 15. Fernando Forestieri 30. Lucas Joao 71. Adthe Nuhiu 95. Kieren Lee 96. Lewis McGugan 97. Marco Matias 112. Tom Lees 131. Daniel Pudil 172. Michael Turner 173. Modou Sougou 188. Ross Wallace Assists: 1. Clayton Donaldson (Birmingham) 2. Alan Judge (Brentford) 3. Johann Berg Gudmundsson (Charlton) 4. Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull) 5. Craig Conway (Blackburn) .............................................................. 11. Ross Wallace 16. Fernando Forestieri 37. Alex Lopez 109. Daniel Pudil 153. Kieren Lee 159. Liam Palmer 195. Tom Lees Yellow Cards: 1. Sam Hutchinson (Wednesday) 2. Alan McCormack (Brentford) 3. Alou Diarra (Charlton) 4. Corry Evans (Blackburn) 5. David Vaughan (Forest) ............................................................... 20. Barry Bannan 58. Alex Lopez 81. Fernando Forestieri 85. Jack Hunt 136. Daniel Pudil 155. Jeremy Helan 176. Marco Matias 185. Modou Sougou 277. Kieren Lee 294. Ross Wallace 316. Tom Lees Maybe not the list we wanted to be top of but no real surprise. Hutch needs to calm down a bit. I notice that Bannan is just one card away from a suspension as well. Shots Per Game: 1. Andre Gray (Burnley) 2. Michail Antonio (Forest) 3. Nelson Oliveira (Forest) 4. Nick Blackman (Reading) 5. Fernando Forestieri (Wednesday) ................................................................ 77. Barry Bannan 91. Marco Matias 99. Lucas Joao 122. Ross Wallace 135, Lewis McGugan 169. Gary Hooper 209. Adthe Nuhiu 227. Alex Lopez 248. Daniel Pudil 275. Kieren Lee 286. Tom Lees 319. Liam Palmer 355. Jack Hunt 359. Modou Sougou 426. Michael Turner 443. Jeremy Helan 446. Glenn Loovens 455. Sam Hutchinson This is key to scoring goals & good to see FF in the top five. Joao needs to take more shots if he wants to become a top striker. Pass Success Percentages: 1. Mark Davies (Bolton) 2. Diego Fabbrini (Middlesbrough) 3. Isaac Hayden (Hull) 4. Sone Aluko (Hull) 5. Ahmed Kashi (Charlton) ............................................................................ 65. Fernando Forestieri 84. Alex Lopez 119. Lewis McGugan 132. Vincent Sasso 155. Barry Bannan 165. Glenn Loovens 169. Sam Hutchinson 174. Kieren Lee 195. Ross Wallace 203. Marco Matias 240. Jose Semedo 299. Lucas Joao 360. Tom Lees 363. Jeremy Helan 365. Michael Turner 398. Gary Hooper 401. Daniel Pudil 402. Liam Palmer 412. Rhoys Wiggins 419. Modou Sougou 438. Jack Hunt 507. Adthe Nuhiu 516 Lewis Price 523 Joe Wildsmith 548. Kieren Westwood Again, FF is our top performer. Nuhiu's pass completion rate is on a par with keepers & is not acceptable. We need to see improvements from several players in this area. Tackles Per Game: 1. David Vaughan (Forest) 2. George Thorne (Derby) 3. Casado (Bolton) 4. Ethan Ebanks Landell (Wolves) 5. Chris Solly (Charlton) .............................................................. 11 Kieren Lee 24. Rhoys Wiggins 51. Jack Hunt 72. Barry Bannan 73. Fernando Forestieri 116. Sam Hutchinson 123. Michael Turner 134. Vincent Sasso 139. Glenn Loovens 163. Lewis McGugan 181. Liam Palmer 250. Jeremy Helan 253. Daniel Pudil 301. Tom Lees 303. Ross Wallace 347. Marco Matias 395. Lucas Joao 409. Adthe Nuhiu 439. Jose Semedo 453. Alex Lopez 459. Modou Sougou Again, Joao could learn from FF how to contribute more to the game overall. Interceptions: 1. Prince (Bolton) 2. Sam Hutchinson (Wednesday) 3. Josh Vela (Bolton) 4. Sol Bamba (Leeds) 5. Dorian Dervite (Bolton) ....................................................................... 38. Vincent Sasso 77. Tom Lees 89. Glenn Loovens 109. Michael Turner 144. Jose Semedo 156. Barry Bannan 168. Rhoys Wiggins 171. Daniel Pudil 191. Jack Hunt 198. Liam Palmer 228. Fernando Forestieri 232. Kieren Lee 235. Alex Lopez 300. Jeremy Helan 310. Marco Matias 321. Lewis McGugan 376. Lucas Joao 391. Gary Hooper 403. Adthe Nuhiu 404. Ross Wallace 421. Modou Sougou 450. Kieren Westwood Hutchinson in the Top Five for the right reasons and probably why we miss him so much when he doesn't play. Fouls Per Match: 1. Adthe Nuhiu (Wednesday) 2. Darren Pratley (Bolton) 3. Joe Garner (Preston) 4. Sandro (QPR) 5. Clayton Donaldson (Birmingham) ..................................................................... 9. Sam Hutchinson 47. Fernando Forestieri 92. Lucas Joao 124. Alex Lopez 153. Jack Hunt 158. Jose Semedo 162. Kieren Lee 169. Modou Sougou 185. Tom Lees 187. Vincent Sasso 207. Jeremy Helan 282. Barry Bannan 303. Gary Hooper 322. Marco Matias 335. Michael Turner 353. Daniel Pudil 367. Liam Palmer 407. Ross Wallace 437. Glenn Loovens 443. Lewis McGugan 454 Rhoys Wiggins The stand out fact is that Nuhiu commits more fouls per game than any other player in the division. Most of them are silly and so obvious that all it does is break down our attacks. A more hidden fact is the massive reduction in the number of fouls committed by Glenn Loovens. Last season, he was regularly pulled up and was our first player suspended. This season, he seems to be doing a great job without committing the fouls. Clearances Per Game: 1. Stephen Kelly (Rotherham) 2. Shane Duffy (Blackburn) 3. Aden Flint (Bristol City) 4. Jason Shackell (Derby) 5. Paul McShane (Reading) ................................................................ 22. Michael Turner 46. Tom Lees 50. Vincent Sasso 61. Glenn Loovens 93. Daniel Pudil 149. Liam Palmer 152. Adthe Nuhiu 162. Lucas Joao 175. Sam Hutchinson 184. Jack Hunt 192. Kieren Westwood 205. Jeremy Helan 211. Rhoys Wiggins 321. Alex Lopez 340. Modou Sougou 347. Kieren Lee 351. Barry Bannan 365. Joe Wildsmith 367. Ross Wallace 424. Jose Semedo The interesting fact here is probably how low our midfield players are in the league table. This is probably due to them passing out of defence rather than just clearing it. Dribbled Past Per Game: 1. Robert Tesche (Forest) 2. Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe (Rotherham) 3. Ethan Ebanks Landell (Wolves) 4. Ryan Mendes (Forest) 5. Richard Smallwood (Rotherham) ............................................................... 71. Kieren Lee 76. Barry Bannan 88. Jack Hunt 101. Fernando Forestieri 119. Rhoys Wiggins 168. Marco Matias 180. Lewis McGugan 183. Alex Lopez 186. Jeremy Helan 206. Jose Semedo 227. Vincent Sasso 235. Ross Wallace 238. Sam Hutchinson Key Passes Per Game: 1. Craig Conway (Blackburn) 2. Henri Lansbury (Forest) 3. Paul Gallagher (Preston) 4. Ross Wallace (Wednesday) 5. Alan Judge (Brentford) ...................................................................... 24. Barry Bannan 125. Fernando Forestieri 137. Kieren Lee 138. Liam Palmer 221. Alex Lopez 229. Jack Hunt 265. Sam Hutchinson 293. Adthe Nuhiu 301. Jeremy Helan 303. Lucas Joao 339. Gary Hooper 342. Joe Wildsmith 354. Lewis McGugan 358. Daniel Pudil 371. Marco Matias 396. Michael Turner 405. Tom Lees 413. Jose Semedo 414. Kieren Westwood 431. Glenn Loovens Successful Dribbles Per Game: 1. Michail Antonio (Forest) 2. Jordan Graham (Wolves) 3. Tareiq Holmes-Dennis (Charlton) 4. Jacob Butterfield (Huddersfield) 5. Joe Lolley (Huddersfield) ........................................................... 31. Jack Hunt 39. Fernando Forestieri 67. Barry Bannan 136. Alex Lopez 141. Gary Hooper 155. Lucas Joao 161. Adthe Nuhiu 178. Kieren Lee 199. Marco Matias 222. Jeremy Helan 289. Lewis McGugan 294. Ross Wallace 315. Vincent Sasso 339. Modou Sougou 352. Tom Lees 401. Sam Hutchinson Dispossessed Per Game: 1. Nelson Oliveira (Forest) 2. Fernando Forestieri (Wednesday) 3. Luke Freeman (Bristol City) 4. Massimo Luongo (QPR) 5. Diego Fabbrini (Middlesbrough) ...................................................................... 83. Lucas Joao 88. Adthe Nuhiu 115. Barry Bannan 120. Kieren Lee 121. Marco Matias 149. Jack Hunt 166. Lewis McGugan 211. Modou Sougou 239. Sam Hutchinson 245. Gary Hooper 246. Jeremy Helan 323. Daniel Pudil 325. Alex Lopez 350. Ross Wallace 401. Liam Palmer 428. Jose Semedo 440. Tom Lees FF figures are poor here but he takes chances, creates chances & gets shots in so being dispossessed is acceptable. Joao & Nuhiu need to score plenty of goals to compensate for giving the ball away so much. Bad Control Per Game: 1. Adam Reach (Preston) 2. Clayton Donaldson (Birmingham) 3. Chris Wood (Leeds) 4. Alan Judge (Brentford) 5. Moussa Dembele (Fulham) .................................................................... 19. Lucas Joao 25. Adthe Nuhiu 30. Fernando Forestieri 92. Kieren Lee 107. Marco Matias 119. Barry Bannan 126. Alex Lopez 173. Gary Hooper 193. Rhoys Wiggins 207. Jack Hunt 221. Ross Wallace 275. Jose Semedo 311. Jeremy Helan 330. Liam Palmer 354. Lewis McGugan 369. Michael Turner 395. Sam Hutchinson 412. Vincent Sasso 413. Tom Lees 426. Modou Sougou 440. Kieren Westwood 463. Glenn Loovens Again, our front three all lose the ball too easily with a bad touch. Not too bad if you back it up with Key Passes & Goals like FF. Joao & Nuhiu need to improve these areas. Number of Passes Per Game: 1. George Thorne (Derby) 2. Jamie O'Hara (Fulham) 3. Adam Clayton (Middlesbrough) 4. Kevin McDonald (Wolves) 5. Oliver Norwood (Reading) .................................................................... 40. Barry Bannan 97. Tom Lees 114. Sam Hutchinson 153. Daniel Pudil 175. Vincent Sasso 193. Glenn Loovens 197. Michael Turner 202. Kieren Westwood 210. Lewis Price 215. Rhoys Wiggins 225. Jack Hunt 258. Kieren Lee 262. Alex Lopez 263. Liam Palmer 267. Jose Semedo 280. Ross Wallace 285. Fernando Forestieri 293. Adthe Nuhiu 295. Joe Wildsmith 325. Lewis McGugan 408. Marco Matias 442. Jeremy Helan 471. Modou Sougou 476. Gary Hooper 477. Lucas Joao These figures show that it is still our midfielders & defenders that are most involved in the game. We need to get our front players more involved in passing. Crosses Per Game: 1. Craig Conway (Blackburn) 2. Paul Gallagher (Preston) 3. Kevin Bru (Ipswich) 4. Alan Judge (Brentford) 5. Liam Feeney (Bolton) ............................................................. 8. Ross Wallace 21. Barry Bannan 109. Jack Hunt 121. Liam Palmer 124. Rhoys Wiggins 133. Kieren Lee 158. Daniel Pudil 162. Alex Lopez 177. Sam Hutchinson 225. Fernando Forestieri 265. Jeremy Helan 303. Lucas Joao 313. Tom Lees RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Washington - 23-11-2015 Hopefully CC has access to this or similar information and acting accordingly to look for improvement areas or individual player advice during his training and match preparation sessions. Interestingly though, I don't think most of those individual area stats show people in teams in the current top 6 which indicates that the good teams including us have a more rounded set of abilities accross the playing 11. I like it that we have a lot of different potential goalscorers which makes it hard for the opposites to plan tactics to nullify our 'key player'. It was good on Saturday that FF was the assist for all our goals but on another day he could be the scorer since 2 of those assists came from his original shot being blocked. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 23-11-2015 Think Derby have quite a few top performers but there is quite a spread across clubs right across the league table.
