Following these Championships, the updated World Rankings are now available.

Men - 1 Canada, 2 Sweden, 3 Norway, 4 Scotland, 5 USA, 6 Switzerland. The top four are unchanged and USA and Switzerland are both up 1 (if one can say that!).
Also included are England in 21st place (no change), Wales in 29th (down 2) and Ireland in 36th (no change).

Women - 1 Canada (up 1), 2 Switzerland (down 1), 3 Russia (up 2), 4 Scotland (no change), 5 Sweden (down 2), 6 USA (up 1).
England are 20th (down 1), Ireland are 32nd (down 1)and Wales 38th (down 3).

For the purposes of Olympic qualification, GBR take the position earned by Scotland.

Is that the end of the Curling season then?

RE: 2017 Mens World Curling Championships - ritchiebaby - 12-04-2017

Not far off it now, Snooty. There are the World Mixed Doubles and World Seniors still to come from 22 to 29 April. They are held concurrently in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada so guess who'll be favourites. There probably won't be much of a preview, as I'll be down in spiritematt's neck of the woods just before the curling starts.

Thanks once again for your company on this thread.
