I don't class deflected goals as own goals either, even if they're off target. You take a shot and it goes in,it's your goal. If you don't shoot, you don't score. The Wycombe player took the shot hit the underside of the bar hit the back of the keeper and went in, in my book it was the Wycombe players goal but it didn't change anything because Southend scored and took it to penalties and won. |
