And that's all. Ivory Coast were very poor, but the commentators were just as poor with their scathing comments. They were downright insulting at times.

And that's how it finished. It wasn't a walkover but it was, as Alan Hansen would put it, sloppy defending that allowed the goal. There were a couple of dirty tackles from the French that went unpunished. Probably expected as a result, though.
